Wigan Warriors maintained their 100% record in 2026 as they ran in 10 tries at Huddersfield Giants to win 56-12 and return to the top of the Women’s Super League.

Anna Davies began the scoring in the fourth minute with the first of her two tries, while Megan Williams and Mia Atherton also crossed the line twice.

Jenna Foubister, Bethan Dainton, Grace Banks and Mary Coleman went over for the other tries for Denis Betts’ 2025 treble winners.

Huddersfield were competitive during the first 45 minutes at Laund Hill and Amelia Brown crossed twice and Mollie Iceton once to make the scoreline 22-12 before Wigan went up through the gears with six tries in the last 24 minutes.

Elsewhere, Liv Whitehead scored a hat-trick for Leeds Rhinos as they notched 11 tries in their 46-6 victory over Barrow Raiders at the Speed Competitions Stadium.

Barrow went into a shock 6-4 lead when Jodie Morley went over for a converted try before the Rhinos showed their class to leave the hosts still pointless in the table.

Prop Shannon Brown scored two tries on her 50th Super League appearance while Ebony Stead and Nicole Kennedy also went over twice. Lucy Murray and debutant Amelia Hirst scored Leeds’ other two tries and they remain third.

York Valkyrie ran in eight tries as they demolished Leigh Leopards 40-0 with Monique Donovan and Adaoha Akwiwu each scoring twice.

Donovan and Akwiwu went over in the first half, with Emma Kershaw and Megan Pakulis also crossing the line.

The pair scored again in the second half before Izzy Bibby and player of the match Isabelle Brennan touched down to wrap up the win and consolidate York’s fourth place in the table.
