League Two side Salford have signed defender Will Aimson on a two-year deal.

The 32-year-old will join the Ammies on a free transfer when his Wigan contract expires at the end of this month.

He has previously won promotion from League Two with Blackpool, Bury and Plymouth.

“Promotion is something that I want to achieve this season. There is a clear plan at this football club and an ambition that fits me,” he told the club website., external
