Securing a ticket for any of the reunion shows has been the dream for millions of Oasis fans during recent months.

But 19 years ago, one lucky Radio 1 listener won a competition to have Noel Gallagher coming round to his living room to play a few songs.

Ben, from Poynton in Cheshire, welcomed to his home not only Gallagher but also radio presenter Jo Whiley and her crew.

No wonder, then, that he told North West Tonight it was “the best day of my life so far”.
