While her mother may be a Hollywood A-lister and her father a huge pop star, Apple Martin is making waves of her own.
The 20-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin recently made her debut into society at a grand debutante ball in Paris, where she was reported to have had a ‘Mean Girls’ moment.
But long before she took centre-stage at the glitzy event, Apple has slowly been showcasing her star quality over the years – with the sorority girl having dazzled on the FROW at Chanel’s fashion show, while she also has the voice of an angel like her Coldplay frontman father.
As the world’s eyes turn to the celebrity offspring, Apple continues to blossom as she takes a further step into the spotlight.
When Apple was just four-years-old, the late designer Karl Lagerfeld reportedly pinpointed her as a future Chanel girl.
And fast-forward 15 years, Apple looked the spitting image of her actress mother made her foray into the fashion world while attending the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show last January at the Grand Palais Ephemere for Paris Fashion Week.

The beauty was chic in a monochrome checked mini dress and cardigan co-ord while sitting in the front row of the show.
Apple sported a textured mini-dress with a black and white checked pattern, alongside a plain black panel.
Mingling with other A-listers, Apple sat alongside Bohemian Rhapsody actress Lucy Boynton, as the front row was packed with the likes of Roger Federer, Sadie Sink and Vanessa Paradis all in attendance.
Sharing her love of fashion amid the show, Apple told Vogue: ‘It was so exciting to see the art in the designs, and the theme of the line emerge throughout the show. My favorite looks from the show were the dropped-waist short tweed looks, and the white floor-length dresses…I really enjoy keeping up with fashion.’
She added of her stylish ensemble: ‘I wanted my look to encapsulate Chanel’s timelessness, while adding edge with a strong eye look. My favorite part of the look was the combination of the loafers and the minidress. It’s something that felt very true to my own style.’
And it appeared that Apple developed a taste for star-studded bashes as just six months later, she accompanied her mother to an exclusive dinner at a private residence in the Hamptons sponsored by Goop, Gucci and fashion stylist Elizabeth Saltzman.
Dressed to impress for the event, Apple opted for a strapless, black minidress with a notch out of the middle of the bodice that is from her mum’s own company.
Apple wore the Jac Strapless Jacket Dress by G. Label by Goop which retails for approximately $900.

Meanwhile, years before, Apple proved that her famous parents aren’t the only ones with talent in the family.
Back in 2015, she showed off her impressive guitar skills and vocal abilities during a school choir performance.
The then 11-year-old strummed her guitar and sang along with her school mates as seen in the video proud mom Gwyneth shared to her Instagram.
The couple’s eldest child donned a white gown while playing her instrument with her long blonde locks loose.
Gwyneth captioned the Instagram video: ‘Best wishes and love to all for a happy holiday.’
Just a year later, Apple took her talents to the stage as she and brother Moses took to the mic at a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club in Malibu.
They showed off their love of music as Apple performed Ariana Grande’s song Just a Little Bit of Your Heart and Moses sang Twenty One Pilots’ hit House Of Gold.
While Chris encouraged his offspring by strumming his guitar and played the piano alongside them while on stage, it’s fair to say the children were full of talent.

It’s not the first time the children have performed with their father, who fronts the band, Coldplay.
Back in June 2016, Coldplay were joined by Apple and Moses as they paid tribute to indie rock band Viola Beach, with their song Boys That Sing after all four members – Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin – and their manager Craig Tarry plunged to their death from a bridge in a tragic car accident in Sweden in February.
Frontman Chris Martin said the band ‘reminded us of ourselves in our early days’.
In a touching gesture, Coldplay were joined by Chris’ children, Apple and Moses, on backing vocals – alongside two of their cousins.
Not only that, but his ex-wife and the mother of their children Gwyneth was also seen in the audience, watching on with a huge smile on her face as the kids helped with the singing.
The blonde Hollywood star flashed a huge grin while singing along to the meaningful track, acting the ever-supportive mother to her two children from the crowd.
Clearly having a love and talent for music, five years later at aged 17, Apple went on to receive a song-writing credit on Coldplay’s track Let Somebody Go, which features vocals by Selena Gomez.
It comes as Apple was accused of having a ‘Mean Girls moment’ at her Debutant ball over the weekend.
Apple has been accused of having a ‘mean girl’ moment at a Paris debutante ball
On Saturday, Apple was among around 20 young women who were presented at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes held in the $1,000-a-night Hotel Shangri-La.
The Vanderbilt University student stunned in a strapless sky blue gown from Valentino’s Spring 2025 collection.
While it’s never been publicly stated what college she goes to, or even what she studies, many believe she’s currently at Vanderbilt University studying English and Law, History, and Society.
However, many people were left shocked by her behavior after a clip emerged of her stealing the spotlight from another girl who was having her picture taken.
The other debutante was seen taking her turn posing for the camera when Martin appeared from behind and sashayed into the shot.
Posing with her hands on her hips, Martin edged her way into the frame – forcing the other girl out.
The debutante could do nothing but look on with an awkward laugh, as Martin proceeds to pout and pose for several photos.
Eventually, she finishes and steps out of the way – almost cutting off another debutante who is waiting for her turn for a picture in the process.
The move did not go down well on social media after the footage, taken by French outlet Paris Match, was shared on TikTok.
‘How Obnoxious and entitled she is,’ one viewer wrote.
‘Oh wow, why did Apple do that? Let the other girl have a moment,’ another added.
‘Not a good behavior for such an event,’ a third person agreed, while another described it as ‘giving Regina George’ in reference to the notorious queen bee in the movie Mean Girls.
However, not everyone was bothered and some even suggested that the Martin and the other debutante know each other.
‘That looked obnoxious, but she probably was joking,’ one person said.
‘Oh gosh they’re obviously friends and the girl in black was stepping out of frame anyways. She’s acting her age,’ another added.

Martin’s mom has previously praised her daughter’s ‘sense of entitlement,’ saying it helps her break down gender inequalities.
‘They have, and I mean this word in the best possible way, a sense of ‘entitlement’ that’s beautiful,’ Paltrow told People, talking about her daughter and her friends.
‘It’s not spoiled, [they] are here for what the boys are going to get too,’ Paltrow explained. ‘I find it very uplifting and heartening that we all seem to be going in this direction together.’
The Shakespeare in Love actress was in attendance at Saturday’s event along with her ex-husband and their son Moses, 18, as well as her mom Blythe Danner.
Another clip showed Martin glaring at a woman who was encroaching on a family photograph.
The family joined an exclusive list of attendees who are all personally invited by the ball’s host, Ophélie Renouard.
Renouard invites her guests based on their appearance, intelligence, and family connections.
The event is billed as a charity fundraiser and will benefit two entities connected with children’s health, according to Hello!

Apple’s dad Chris Martin, 47, and brother Moses, 18, also attended the event wearing custom Valentino tuxedos (Pictured in New York City in October)
Debutantes on the list of attendees include European royalty as well as the daughters of A-list celebrities.
Ava Philippe, 25, the daughter of Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe, attended in 2017. Emily in Paris star, Lily Collins, 35, made her debut in 2007.
Each debutante is accompanied by a male partner, known as a chevalier, who is also typically from a prestigious family.
Martin was accompanied by Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
