MP’s have voted against a parliamentary enquiry into Sir Keir Starmer over allegations he misled the House regarding his knowledge of Lord Mandelson’s appointment.
MP’s voted 335 against the inquiry, while 223 members voted in favour of investigation by the Privileges Committee.
