I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Alan Halsall is best-known for his Coronation Street role as Tyrone Dobbs, with the actor starting off his jungle journey strong after being made one of the camp leaders in the series’ debut on Sunday.
In the run-up to the first episode, some reports hinted the 42-year-old had a frosty relationship with his ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, with claims suggesting she would be voting him to endure the gruelling Bushtucker Trials.
However, the 41-year-old actress, who met Halsall on the set of the ITV soap when she starred as Katy Harris for three years, has broken her silence.
The two got married in 2009 before welcoming their daughter, Sienna, four years later.
In 2016, the couple announced they had split before briefly reconciling and separating once again, this time for good, in 2018.
Hudson has since moved on, having found love with actor Lewis Devine. Despite this though, she wanted to make clear she was on good terms with the father of her child.

Taking to social media in a recent post, Hudson explained she was having to “put the record straight” as she addressed recent reports while her ex enters the Australian jungle for the popular ITV reality show.
“Just wanted to put the record straight,” she penned, before stating in a video: “First of all, me and my ex have been divorced seven years.
“I actually can’t believe it’s a topic of conversation because it’s pretty boring.”
She continued: “We share Sienna 50/50. We communicate. She’s a happy kid. We get on great.
“We have to work out weekends – what we’re swapping, certain days he wants, certain days I want.
“We’re constantly communicating because it’s important for Sienna and to plan what we’re doing.
“We don’t want her missing out so we change things for each other.”
The actress went on to share her support for Halsall, adding: “Second of all, myself and Lewis will be sat down with Sienna watching the jungle. We wish him nothing but the best.
“We are going to be there for Sienna supporting her throughout this journey because, yes, she’s going to miss her dad.
“He’s in her life all the time, so this is quite a strange thing.”
Concluding the post, she ended with: “He is who he is to you guys, but for Sienna, it’s her dad and we’re supporting her through that.”
After leaving Coronation Street, Hudson went on to appear in drama Wild at Heart as Rosie Trevanion before joining Hollyoaks as Donna-Marie Quinn.
Halsall and I’m A Celebrity camp mate Tulisa Contostavlos, who found fame in hip-hop group N-Dubz, were appointed camp leaders after succeeding through the first hurdle of the show.
The two were given extra luxuries and have been made exempt from the first public vote.
