Macy Gray snubbed both post-show interviews for The Masked Singer after her elimination, it has been revealed.
The US soul singer, 57, was the latest star to be unmasked on the ITV show on Saturday when she was revealed to be the Toad In The Hole.
However, before Macy’s identity was revealed, she walked off the stage when host Joel Dommett announced the sad news that she had to go home.
After her chaotic unmasking, Macy refused to respond to ITV’s post-show questions sent to each contestant upon elimination, according to The Mirror.
A source said: ‘It is normal for the celebs to answer some questions for a Q&A sent out by ITV but Macy didn’t do it. This is only second time in history of the show this has happened so it shows how unhappy she was after the show.’
Macy also refused to appear on the spin-off show The AfterMask, hosted by presenter Harriet Rose.

In a clip of the spin-off, Harriet is seen speaking to producer Dan Nettleton, as she asks him: ‘What’s going on? Can you give me any info?
‘We’re backstage now with Dan and he’s looking scared to answer these questions.’
‘Nothing to worry about here,’ the producer says while laughing nervously, as Harriet continues: ‘Fantastic, oh I feel relaxed now.’
Macy performed against Bear, Wolf, Pufferfish and Bush before being voted off and having to remove her costume head to reveal her identity.
But ITV viewers were left shocked when Toad In The Hole stormed off stage before revealing her identity.
Moments later the star returned to the stage and was revealed to be American singer Macy, who did not look impressed about leaving the reality show.
A source claimed that Macy was completely ‘blindsided’ by being one of the first contestants to leave the UK show after reaching the final of the US version in 2023 which she was disguised as the Sea Queen.
Macy was reportedly ‘shellshocked’ and ‘gutted’ to be leaving the hit ITV show so early as she enjoyed participating in the American version.

Speaking to The Sun, the insider claimed: ‘When Macy stormed off stage everyone was frozen in shock but as soon as she reached backstage, crew removed her mask so they could talk her down.
‘It was the shock of it for her as well as the upset and in that moment she had a very raw, human reaction and wanted out. For a professional performer to reach that point shows how badly she felt.’
MailOnline contacted ITV for comment.
Once she removed her mask, Macy had a face like thunder and couldn’t hide her anger during the interview, replying to Joel’s questions with blunt, one-worded answers.
Watching the dramatic moment, viewers took to X in their droves to comment and they were all saying the same thing – how ‘awkward’ the whole thing was.
Prue Leith was the first person voted off the show after being revealed as Pegasus, while Kate Garraway was the second to be out after being unmasked as Spag Bol.
It comes after host Joel, 39, revealed the return of the Masked Singer ‘has got weirder’ as he said new show judge Maya Jama, 30, ‘lives a really ridiculous life’.

Speaking to Principle Magazine, Joel said: ‘It’s getting weirder. I think it’s getting odder and odder.
‘And if you thought it was weird before, it’s getting even more strange. And also we’re getting more confident as a production.
‘We’re putting in more twists and turns and interesting elements to it that you wouldn’t necessarily expect with the format.
‘It’s just fun and we’re really enjoying it, but production certainly is letting me do pretty much whatever I want.’
The Masked Singer continues on ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday January 18 at 7pm.
