More than five decades after the Rubik’s Cube was invented, the puzzle is still providing hours of entertainment to millions of people around the world.

Some super fans – known as speedcubers – have even made careers out of finding the quickest way to solve it.

Aidan Grainger, who holds the UK national record for solving the 3x3x3 Rubik cube in the quickest time, accepted a challenge by Breakfast presenters to solve it live.

Grainger, from Wiltshire, completed the cube in 10 seconds, but his record is 3.69 seconds.
