Two people have been rushed to hospital following a toboggan crash at a popular UK park.

The incident occurred at Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire on Sunday night.

Emergency services rushed to the scene to assist an on-site first-aider.

Two people sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

The toboggan ride has reportedly closed following the incident.

One eyewitness told WalesOnline there was a malfunction on the ride, causing one toboggan to crash into another sledge.

The man, who was in the queue for the ride at the time, also said that he heard screaming from the track.
