Two men have been charged with murder after the body of a man was found in a suitcase in woods, the Met Police said.

Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, has been charged with murder and preventing a lawful burial, while Jamie Cooper, 27, of the same address, has been charged with preventing a lawful burial.

It comes as officers were called to a block of flats on Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road in Wandsworth, at 22:55 BST on Thursday. No-one was found at the property, but a search led officers to believe someone had been harmed there so an investigation was launched.

On Friday, officers attended a wooded area in Borstal, Kent, where a man’s body was found.
