Piero Hincapie (Arsenal): I thought he had a tough time against Manchester City last week and Antoine Semenyo gave him a bit of bother when he kept going directly at him. I thought Newcastle would use the same blueprint, but he just shut everybody down. Great defensively, big moments with headers and blocks. Really, really good.

Harry Maguire (Manchester United): Back from a two-game suspension, just see the difference in Manchester United’s team when Maguire is there. He’s just a solid individual who gets stuff done. He got the assist for the opening goal against Brentford and just brings a level of authority to that United backline.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham): I’m going to put him at right-back even though he played left-back. He was very, very good for Fulham. One of their best attacking outlets, kept getting forward, got his reward with the goal and kept a clean sheet against Villa. So that’s why he goes in.

Kevin Danso (Tottenham): When you think to last week and the horrific mistake he made which obviously gifted Brighton’s goal, it would have been easy for him to go into his shell. But he was strong and compact in the win at Wolves. Still a little bit ropey, but I think that’s who he is.

He going to give you those moments of nervousness. But to have the week he’s had where he got abused and to come and put in a solid performance in, he goes in my team.
