As we officially enter the final week of the January transfer window, the clock is now ticking faster than ever for clubs looking to wrap up some last minute winter deals.
After months of speculation over his future, West Ham at last agreed a deal with Manchester City for their out-of-favour midfielder Kalvin Phillips to join on loan with an option to buy.
Following Jordan Henderson’s sensational Saudi Arabia U-turn, reports also arose that Karim Benzema could be looking to return to Europe as well, with a move to boyhood club Lyon thought to be on the cards.
Tuesday also saw a hint from Victor Osimhen that his future has already been decided and will be acted upon in summer, with the player frequently linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea.

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag is thought to be a fan of Bayern Munich’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, with the Cameroonian regarded as an upgrade on Anthony Martial. The Red Devils are reportedly eyeing a six-month loan deal for the striker. (Football Transfers).
Man United are also set to battle it out with Arsenal for Dutch star Joshua Zirkzee. The former Bayern Munich forward is thought to have a £34million release clause in his contract at Serie A side Bologna, although United are believed to be the only club to have held talks with the player. Newcastle could look to poach Tottenham’s move for Norway starlet Antonio Nusa. The Magpies reportedly view the 18-year-old as a replacement for Miguel Almiron, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this month. (Football Insider).
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is a key target for Fulham this winter, with the Blues thought to be desperate to part ways with the player. The Blues are prioritising a striker in the summer, but selling an academy product would present them with more funds to work with. (Teamtalk).
However, Nottingham Forest are also thought to be interested in what would be a bold move for the 24-year-old. (The Sun).
Napoli have agreed a deal for Aston Villa’s Leander Dendoncker. The Belgian is set for a medical on Wednesday ahead of a loan in Serie A until the end of the season, although the Partenopei will have a £7.7m buy option. (Fabrizio Romano).
Nottingham Forest are in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a loan deal for American international Gio Reyna. The Premier League side are thought to be keen on a purchase option and are pushing to get the deal over the line. (The Athletic).
Man United are eyeing a summer move for former Tottenham academy product Marcus Edwards. The Sporting forward will have two years left on his deal by summer, and with INEOS keen on the player, it is though a deal can be done for around £30m. (Football Transfers).
