The Metropolitan Police has charged former DJ Tim Westwood with two additional sexual offences as part of its continuing investigation into the 68-year-old.
The new charges comprise one count of indecent assault and one count of sexual assault, according to the force.
Westwood, who lives in Westminster, now faces allegations of indecently assaulting a teenage girl in 1991 and sexually assaulting a young woman in 2004.
These fresh charges bring the total number of offences Westwood is accused of to 17, with nine women now involved across all the allegations.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed it had authorised the new proceedings on Tuesday.
Catherine P Baccas, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor in CPS London, said: “Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring these additional charges to court and that it is in the public interest to pursue further criminal proceedings.”
According to the Met, the first new charge relates to the alleged indecent assault of a girl aged 16 to 17 in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in 1991.
The second concerns the alleged sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman in Wandsworth during May 2004.

Both allegations involve what the CPS described as “non-recent offences” connected to two women who are separate from the seven complainants in the existing case.
Ms Baccas stated: “The Crown Prosecution Service reminds everyone that criminal proceedings are active, and the defendant has the right to a fair trial.”
She added: “It is extremely important that there be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.”
Westwood is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on a date yet to be confirmed regarding these latest charges.
The new charges supplement 15 existing offences brought against Westwood in October 2025, when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and was granted conditional bail.
Those original allegations comprise four counts of rape, nine of indecent assault and two of sexual assault, involving seven women over a period stretching from 1983 to 2016.
The earliest of those accusations dates back more than four decades, when Westwood allegedly indecently assaulted a 17-year-old in Fulham. The most recent relates to the alleged sexual assault of a woman in her twenties in Finchley in 2016.
A trial on the original 15 charges is set to commence at Southwark Crown Court on Monday 25 January 2027.
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy of the Metropolitan Police said: “The women who have made reports have placed their trust in us, and we remain committed to providing them with all available support.”
