Two adults and a teenager have been charged with attempted murder after a shotgun was fired in a town centre.
Police were called to Market Place in Braintree, Essex, at about 22:10 BST on Monday following what officers described as a “targeted attack”.
Two teenagers sustained serious injuries to their face and upper body, while a third person was also injured.
Destiny Ema, 23, of Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford, Kayden Brown, 18, of Noaks Avenue, Chelmsford, and a 17-year-old from Braintree who cannot be named for legal reasons are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A 16-year-old boy previously arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail until 30 November.
