The Traitors has returned with a bang after Claudia Winkleman welcomed 25 contestants to the castle this week.
Yet for three contestants their time on the show was short and sweet after they were eliminated from the game after sacrificing themselves off the train in episode one.
However, it has now been revealed the three axed players will return to the show in a shock twist.
Ex-British diplomat Alexander, 38, outreach manager Fozia, 50, and market trader and landscaper Jack, 24, will all make their dramatic comeback, completely unexpected to the other players.
The threesome all sacrificed themselves when they all volunteered to get off the train so that the remaining contestants could head to the castle and start the game, adding £7,000 for the winner’s prize pot.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Beeb bosses weren’t going to let these three brilliant personalities go without any proper airtime.

‘It was all left to chance in the first few scenes as to who would get kicked off the show, as the contestants decided among themselves.
‘So producers had planned all along to save the trio and reinstate them further down the line as the game hots up.’
MailOnline have contacted BBC representatives for comment.
Their return was teased at the end of Friday night’s episode and they will return to take part in a nail biting new challenge as the drama increases.
Friday’s episode ended with three hooded figures driving on a horse-drawn carriage marked as ‘rail replacement’, with the suggestion the three contestants were inside.
After the latest installment fans took to Twitter with their theories for the coming episodes.
They penned: ‘My theory from the outset has been that when a traitor’s banished at the round table, they’ll be replaced by one of the three who sacrificed themselves by leaving their carriage in the order in which they left. So welcome back Fozia! #TheTraitors’;
‘So the three who got abandoned are not mentioned no portraits hanging etc. Makes me think they still have a role to play #TheTraitors’;
‘The three booted out on Wednesday magically coming back? #TheTraitors’; ‘The three eliminated returning #TheTraitors’; ‘Oh the three are coming back. #TheTraitors’;

‘My #TheTraitors pitch: bring back the three who got off the train as another set of Traitors but don’t tell the castle Traitors. The possibilities are endless. Two people getting murdered, someone who one set of Traitors thought they had murdered turning up for breakfast, etc.’;
‘The three eliminated coming back #TheTraitors’; ‘Bring back one of the three left at the station as a traitor #TheTraitors’.
Meanwhile Armani became the first Traitor to be banished by the Faithfuls during Friday’s episode.
And now the 27-year-old financial investigator has confessed her time on the hit show was blown by her own loud mouth.
She confessed: ‘I had a strategy, but it went completely out the window within the first couple of seconds.’
‘My original strategy was that I was not going to be too loud, have a few conversations with different people and not make my opinions too known. My nature just got the better of me and I ended up yapping away to everybody.’
She added: ‘I think I was so excited just to be there, my mouth wouldn’t stop running, which was probably my biggest downfall.’

Despite feeling that she could have played things differently, Armani said she enjoyed the whole experience.
She said: ‘The number one standout was that I was there with my sister! Also “the witch hunt” – as I call it – the Round Table that got me out, was incredible.’
Showing good humour about her short stint on the series, the failed Traitor added: ‘That was a super move by everybody because they came out of nowhere.’
‘My little sister didn’t even back me up! I can’t complain, I would have done the exact same thing.’
