The Princess of Wales stunned in a gorgeous red outfit as she stepped out solo for the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final this afternoon.

Catherine, who is patron of the All English Tennis Club, wore a lavish £795 Roland Mouret drape dress, leaving fans in awe.

The princess let her long brunette hair flow elegantly behind her, as she, once again, dazzled at SW19.

Before she took her spot in the Royal Box, where she will join brother James Middleton and his wife Alizée Thevenet, the princess met people behind the scenes.

Catherine thanked organisers for their efforts and “for having me”, and hailed “the spirit and the day out” of Wimbledon finals day.

The mother-of-three also shared her congratulayions to British duo Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid, who won their seventh Wimbledon Men’s Wheelchair Doubles title as a pair, beating Argentina’s Gustavo Fernandez and Japan’s Tokito Oda 2-6 6-1 6-2.

“What a wonderful achievement, Alfie and Gordon!” the royal wrote on social media.

“Huge congratulations to you both, an extraordinary partnership and another very special moment at Wimbledon. You continue to inspire so many.”

Catherine arrived in south London to watch Czech players Karolína Muchová and Linda Nosková compete for the coveted championship.

The 44-year-old royal will award the trophy to the winner on day 13 of the tournament, as she did to Iga Swiatek this time last year, after her 6-0, 6-0 defeat of Amanda Anisimova.

She will be accompanied by All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton during the presentation ceremony.

Club chairwoman Deborah Jevans and Lawn Tennis Association president Roy Colabawalla are also in attendance alongside the princess.

Catherine will also be joined by her brother and sister-in-law, who arrived at SW19 wearing coordinating white outfits, marking the first time the pair have attended Wimbledon since 2023.

James’s appearance today rounds off a complete set of Middleton family visits during this year’s fortnight.

Carole Middleton was spotted at the tournament with daughter Pippa earlier in the championships, before making a separate visit with husband Michael.

Prince William and the couple’s three children are not in attendance.

This afternoon marks Catherine’s second visit to the championships during this year’s fortnight.

During the opening week, the princess was seen courtside as British sensation Arthur Fery faced Otto Virtanen in the second round, seated with Deborah Jevans and former British number one Tim Henman.

She also attended Katie Swan’s match against American Madison Keys, where Sir Andy Murray and Anne Keothavong joined her.

Catherine took time to meet fans waiting in The Queue, greeting those who had camped overnight hoping to secure tickets.

Catherine’s association with Wimbledon stretches back to 2011, with the princess missing only two championships since: during her pregnancy with Prince George in 2013 and when the pandemic forced the tournament’s cancellation in 2020.

She assumed the role of royal patron in 2016, becoming a fixture at SW19.
