It may not be the classiest joint, but the Gold Coast sure has a lot of cash.
And for those who who find the Sydney and Melbourne cliques a little too ‘old money’, the Queensland hotspot is the perfect playground for the young, rich and beautiful.
Known for its pristine beaches, vibrant nightlife and annual influx of rowdy Schoolies, the Goldie is home to some of the country’s finest nouveau riche.
But if you scratch beneath the surface, you’ll find more than just perma-tanned OnlyFans millionaires. You might even find some rather famous surnames…
Our last two tier lists – you can find them here and here – were so wildly popular that we did a ring around our usual Gold Coast snitches to find out who makes the sunny city’s A, B and C lists.
We know we can’t please everyone, so take them with a pinch of salt and leave your suggestions in the comments below. Without further ado, here are the A-listers…
If you scratch beneath the surface, you’ll find more than just tanned, young millionaires on the Gold Coast. Top of the hierarchy is Bianca Rinehart (pictured), daughter of mining magnate and Australia’s richest person Gina Rinehart. Bianca’s personal wealth stands at $2.42billion
THE A-LIST
Top of the hierarchy is Bianca Rinehart, the daughter of mining magnate and Australia’s richest person Gina Rinehart. Her personal wealth stands at $2.42billion – an enormous amount, but still chump change compared to her mother’s $34billion.
Bianca is a trustee of the Hope Margaret Hancock Trust, which holds a significant stake in Hancock Prospecting, and whose beneficiaries include Bianca and her siblings John, Hope and Ginia.
And she isn’t the only mining heiress on the Gold Coast. Emily Palmer, the 29-year-old daughter of Clive Palmer and his first wife Susan, who died of cancer in 2006, is another member of the A-list.
Emily was announced on the Mineralogy board in 2021 and her impressive property portfolio includes six homes so far.
They are joined by Jesinta Franklin (née Campbell), who moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast with her AFL star husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin after his retirement in 2023 following a remarkable 18-year career with Hawthorn and the Swans.
The former Miss Universe Australia has worked with the likes of Dior, Lancôme, Seafolly swimwear, Olay skincare, Armani Beauty and more.
Tammy Hembrow, one of Australia’s original social media personalities, also holds a firm position on the top of the social ladder.

The fitness influencer has an estimated net worth of $50million and boasts more than 17 million followers on Instagram. She paid $2.88million for a home by the river in Broadbeach Waters in 2020.

Rounding out the elite crowd is Jackie Cross, whose husband Billy Cross runs several popular nightclubs in Surfers Paradise and Las Vegas.
THE B-LIST
While they’re aren’t at the top of the ladder, these B-list socialites are snapping at the heels of the Gold Coast’s main movers and shakers.
Leading the middle tier is Yvette Hardy, who is the founder of Ancient Candle Co, which makes upmarket soy wax candles, and also runs the successful fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog Fashion Evolve.
Also earning a place on the list is fashion blogger and mum-of-three Fiona Edwards Bassingthwaighte.
Record-breaking Ironwoman Courtney Hancock has also been a fixture on the social scene for years, and is regularly spotted at exclusive social events.
The athlete, who is expecting her first child with Australian cricketer Nick Buchanan, was the first woman to win four Coolangatta Gold titles.
Another notable B-lister is Skye Wheatley, who rose to fame on Big Brother in 2014 and went on to become one of Australia’s first ‘Instagram stars’.
Alli Simpson, the younger sister of swimmer-turned-singer-turned-swimmer Cody Simpson, is also regarded as one of the Gold Coast’s ‘It’ girls.
Rounding out the middle tier is Lucciana Beynon, globetrotting model and daughter of tobacco heir Travers ‘The Candyman’ Beynon and his first wife, former Venezuelan beauty queen Ninibeth Leal.
When she’s not on location in London or walking the runway at Miami Swim Week in Florida, she calls her father’s gaudy Helensvale mansion, The Candy Shop, home.

THE C-LIST
These aren’t the Gold Coast’s most rich or famous, but these names are still ones to keep an eye on.
Model-turned-DJ Brooke Evers, who is married to Matt from DJ duo Stafford Brothers, found a place on the list.
She’s joined by model and influencer Ellie Gonsalves, who went viral in late 2023 for sharing her 118 reasons not to have children.
Amanda Abate is also a fixture on the social scene, and her profile has only grown since becoming an ambassador for Magic Millions, Mike and Zara Tindall’s favourite horse racing event.
She launched her journalism career in 2009 and landed a plum job as a Seven Gold Coast News presenter in 2016.
Rounding out the C-list is former MAFS star Jessika Power, who used her fame on the show to launch a lucrative OnlyFans career and bag a series of reality TV gigs both in Australia and the UK.
