Spotify Wrapped has just been released today in the UK.

The annual end-of-year feature gives listeners a personalised, shareable breakdown of their music habits — including top songs, artists, genres and more. It will be available to both free and Premium users, though Premium subscribers (from £12.99 per month) get more detailed insights.

For instance, Premium members can see how many new artists they discovered over the past year — a stat not available to those on the free tier.

These are the top songs on Spotify in the UK:

  1. Alex Warren – Ordinary
  2. Gracie Abrams – That’s So True
  3. Lola Young – Messy
  4. Chappell Roan – Pink Pony Club
  5. Billie Eilish – Birds of a Feather

To view your personalised Wrapped, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure Spotify is updated to the latest version.
  2. Launch Spotify on your phone or tablet. Spotify Wrapped usually appears as a banner or story-like feature on the home page when it’s live.
  3. Look for a notification from Spotify about Wrapped. Tap it to enter your Wrapped experience.

If it’s not appearing, then you may need to search for it manually.

Spotify has been teasing it’s arrival via social media — the streaming giant posted a teaser on X less than 24 hours ago, reminding users to update their app to avoid delays.

Previous launch dates offered a good clue to its release this year. Since debuting in 2016, Spotify Wrapped has arrived within a fairly consistent window each year, which is around the first week in December, though the drop date has gradually shifted earlier over time…

  • 2016: December 6
  • 2017: December 6
  • 2018: December 6
  • 2019: December 5
  • 2020: December 1
  • 2021: December 1
  • 2022: November 30
  • 2023: November 29
  • 2024: December 4

The Swedish streaming service has consistently released Spotify Wrapped on a weekday, typically in the morning hours between 9:00 – 11:00am GMT. As such, we’d expect to see the annual launch sometime between November 24 – 28, or December 1 – 5, 2025.

Meanwhile, Apple has also just released its 2025 Music Replay as of yesterday, December 2, 2025, meaning Spotify fans are eagerly waiting for Wrapped to arrive and join the year-end streaming roundup.

You don’t have to wait until then to find out your most-played songs and artists. Spotify recently added a new way to check your listening stats on a weekly basis.

You can now check directly through the streaming app –

  1. Open the Spotify app on Android or iPhone
  2. Tap your Profile Picture in the top-left corner of the home screen
  3. Select “Listening Stats” from the menu
  4. Spotify will show a breakdown of your top artists and songs for the last week
  5. There’s an option to view data for previous weeks, too
  6. You can also share these stats directly with friends on Spotify or other platforms

To view your Wrapped, you can also look for the banner on the app’s homepage or go directly to spotify.com/wrapped in a web browser to view your personalised recap. This presents insights from the last year of streaming on Spotify in dynamic, interactive graphics that can be exported to share on social media. You can save your most-streamed in a playlist to revisit whenever it suits.
