Spencer Matthews shared an emotional Instagram post in support of his wife Vogue Williams after her exit from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The television personality was not present to greet the Irish media personality following her departure from the jungle.

Ms Williams, 40, was the third contestant to be evicted from the Aussie jungle last night.

She found herself in the bottom two alongside fellow model Kelly Brook, but it was Ms Willams who received the fewest viewer votes.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly delivered the news to Ms Williams, who had entered the jungle as a late arrival with Tom Read Wilson just six days after the other campmates.

She bid farewell to her fellow celebrities before crossing the famous bridge for her exit interview.

The mother-of-three follows comedian Eddie Kadi, who left on Sunday, and sports broadcaster Alex Scott, who was the first to depart on Friday.

Upon her exit, fans questioned why Mr Matthews, 37, was not present.

The reason became clear, however, when he took to Instagram to share a loved-up selfie of the pair, writing: “Disappointed to hear that my gorgeous Vogue is out of I’m A Celeb but I’m so proud of the brave stint she did in there.

“She showed heart, courage and fearlessness in challenges and, as always, was such a positive and pragmatic figure in camp! I would have loved nothing more than to have been there for her when she came out and am sending so much love from Antarctica.

“On the positive side, we can now all FaceTime – I know she will have missed the kids like mad and I can’t wait to hear her voice and for us to all be reunited next week.”

Fans of the couple quickly took to social media to show their support.

“If the Irish could vote she’d still be there! She did amazing… well done Vogue, you did us proud,” one fan wrote, while another said: “She was robbed. I’m raging she went and so are a lot of people. She was phenomenal in that trial. Such a shame us Irish couldn’t vote for her.”

“She was amazing and didn’t deserve to be voted out next. Judging by the comments section before and after the vote, it was fixed as she was enormously popular,” another viewer added.

A fourth fan wrote: “Can’t believe Vogue has left the jungle!”

Mr Matthews, 37, is currently completing seven Ironman-distance triathlons across seven continents in 21 days, with his final race in Antarctica ending on December 6.

During her exit interview, Ms Williams admitted she felt mixed emotions about leaving the jungle. “It feels good. It was getting pretty hard, I’m so hungry,” Ms Williams said, athough she said she partly wanted to stay because “it’s so fun in there” and “everyone is such good fun”.

Ms Williams revealed hunger was the biggest challenge, explaining that campmates were “absolutely starving” and even when food arrived “it just tastes like nothing anyway, it’s all kind of just mush”.

Despite facing her fears during trials, Ms Williams said her long-standing phobia of cockroaches had vanished, explaining that the experience had “got rid of it”.

Ms Williams also spoke freely about camp dynamics, particularly household duties.

She revealed AngryGinge and Aitch were reluctant to complete their chores, saying: “Ginge and Aitch are a bit resistant to their chores.”

Washing up became a particular flashpoint, with AngryGinge complaining that eating rice from cups doubled his workload. He asked the camp to “please stop eating rice out of cups”.

Ms Williams defended the practice, insisting everyone had “the right to have a clean bowl in the morning”, adding she did not “really understand the whole cup-gate”, joking she simply became “what I’m like at home”.

Looking ahead to the finale, Ms Williams backed comedian Ruby Wax, saying she “reckons Ruby has got it in the bag”.

Rather than being greeted by her husband, Ms Williams was met by her agent Louisa McDonald, who had flown to Australia for the occasion.

Mr Matthew’s absence had been expected due to his Antarctica challenge.

The couple, who married in 2018 and share three children, Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, two, will reunite next week when Mr Matthews completes his gruelling mission.
