Josie Gibson has firmly rejected suggestions that weight loss injections were behind her recent 2.5-stone transformation, insisting the change is down to the relentless pace of her everyday life.

The 41-year-old This Morning presenter and former Big Brother winner told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine that her slimmer figure is simply the result of juggling a packed schedule as a single mother.

Rather than any medical intervention, Ms Gibson pointed to the physical demands of maintaining her television career, raising her son, managing a house build and keeping on top of domestic tasks as the real explanation.

She has grown increasingly exasperated by the persistent speculation, which intensified after viewers noticed her different appearance in recent months.

Responding to the barrage of accusations, Ms Gibson did not hold back.

She stated: “The amount of people that have gone: ‘Fat jabs, fat jabs, fat jabs!’

“I’m like, ‘how about single mum running around the country, trying to hold down a career and sort a house build, while trying to do everything else as well, including the cleaning – how about that?'”

The presenter also voiced reservations about the injections themselves, citing reported health risks that have put her off.

“If somebody gave me a miracle thing and said, ‘here you go, you’re going to be skinny,’ and there were no side effects, that would be amazing,” she said.

Josie Gibson recently disclosed that she had undergone a brachioplasty

“But people are losing their frickin’ hair, and what happens to your digestive system?”

Research from the University of Health System has linked the jabs to an elevated risk of alopecia.

Ms Gibson has also been candid about her battle with lipoedema, a chronic condition causing abnormal fat accumulation that predominantly affects women. Receiving the diagnosis proved transformative for the presenter.

“It was a light-bulb moment,” she told the magazine. “I was told, ‘you can’t out-train lipoedema.’ It was heartbreaking, but it all made sense.”

After years of feeling frustrated by her inability to shift stubborn weight despite regular exercise, Ms Gibson spent approximately £7,000 on liposuction to treat the condition in her arms, later describing it as “the best thing she ever did.”

Josie Gibson revealed she had purchased a treadmill to maintain her step count at home and occasionally puts together circuit sessions

In March, she disclosed that she had undergone a brachioplasty — a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the upper arms — with surgeons taking away 45 per cent of the tissue from her arms.

Updating followers on her recovery, Ms Gibson revealed she had purchased a treadmill to maintain her step count at home and occasionally puts together circuit sessions.

Her wellness regime extends well beyond conventional fitness, however.

She takes collagen supplements and electrolytes daily, and has invested time in understanding how the lymphatic system functions, incorporating regular lymphatic drainage treatments.

To aid healing after her surgical procedures, Ms Gibson rented a hyperbaric oxygen chamber for three months, a device that delivers pure oxygen in a pressurised environment to boost blood oxygen levels.

She also receives NAD+ and glutathione injections, which are designed to support anti-ageing and recovery.

Perhaps most unusually, the presenter constructed her own copper pyramid at home, a tool associated with meditation and energy healing practices.
