Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she is expecting her second child with fiancé Scott Dobinson, describing the pregnancy as “another miracle” for the couple.

The 35-year-old television personality shared the joyful announcement on Instagram on Monday evening, featuring an adorable video of their son Jude clutching a specially created newspaper bearing the headline: “Baby Dobinson another miracle coming soon!”

“We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this,” the couple wrote in their post. “After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing.”

They added: “One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother. And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother.”

The happy news arrives after the couple endured a challenging journey to expand their family, including a four-year fertility struggle before Jude’s arrival in June 2023.

During the current series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, Moffatt spoke openly about suffering a miscarriage in late 2024 after becoming pregnant again following Jude’s birth.

“After Jude was born, we tried again and got quite far on and miscarried,” she told her campmates. “I remember Scott’s mum and dad took Jude for the day, and me and Scott just laid in bed crying. It was awful.”

The former Gogglebox star explained that losing the pregnancy meant “mourning a life that you imagined,” describing how the couple had pictured their children running downstairs together at Christmas.

Ms Moffatt revealed that the experience of trying unsuccessfully for another baby left her questioning herself deeply.

“When all you want is a family. It’s really hard when that doesn’t just come naturally and easily.

“You know, you question yourself. You question, why is it not happening? Is it ever going to happen?” she shared with fellow contestants.

She admitted the ordeal made everyday life feel “heavier” as the couple grappled with their losses.

Speaking previously about the emotional aftermath, Ms Moffatt disclosed that she had told Scott she could no longer cope with the heartbreak and suggested they should stop trying altogether.

“I just think it’s so brave when people then continue the journey because it is soul-destroying,” she reflected on those who persist through similar struggles.

Fellow celebrities quickly flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages for the couple.

Gemma Collins wrote: “Omg congratulations. So happy for you both,” while Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts commented: “So happy for you and your beautiful family. Jude has the voice of an angel. Love you girl.”

Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell and former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan were also among those offering their well wishes.

Moffatt first found fame appearing alongside her family on Channel 4’s Gogglebox before winning the 2016 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in Australia.

She has since returned to the jungle for the current all-star South Africa edition, appearing alongside Sir Mo Farah, Beverley Callard and Harry Redknapp.
