It is time to go, Prime Minister.

Even on the world stage, the only thing people praise Keir Starmer for, they don’t want him,

Remember when Keir Starmer appeared to be blanked by President Trump at the G7 meeting last week?

And now, in the last hour, Donald Trump has even made up his mind. He’s saying Keir Starmer will resign as prime minister after failing badly on immigration and energy.

Keir Starmer promised change.

He once said: “If you want change, you have to vote for it. Change doesn’t happen unless you vote for it.”

But the only thing he has changed is his mind, repeatedly.

After promising support in 2022, Keir Starmer deserted the Waspi women.

And after vowing to keep the two-child benefit cap at the budget, they scrapped it.

There was also the farmers’ inheritance tax U-turn. And let’s not forget the winter fuel allowance flip-flop.

I’ve lost count of how many U-turns some in his government tried to justify as healthy because he’s able to rethink.

But how about getting it right the first time he’s made awful judgment calls, like the Peter Mandelson appointment, which appears to have slipped under the radar because there are so many other cock ups.

My head is spinning thinking about them all. I don’t know where to start. He’s lost a string of ministers within months. Tulip Siddiq, Russia, Ali, Mike Amesbury, etc.

The first to go was Louise Haig after an old conviction regarding a mobile phone resurfaced. Keir did or didn’t know about it. She’s not forgotten.

She’s also the first in the queue to see him gone. She led Andy Burnham’s campaign.

But despite all this, he said earlier this week that he’s not going anywhere.

Rumours are swirling that he will resign tomorrow. Is he going to resign tomorrow?

For the love of God, even though I am not a fan of any of your potential replacements, Keir. You simply cannot carry on like this.

So, for the love of God, go save the country the effort of having to shove you out of the way and do the right thing. Resign.
