Sarah Ferguson is said to be “carefully considering” offers for a major, tell-all interview as she could reveal what she knew of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s friendship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

American broadcasters are believed to be willing to pay six-figure sums for a blockbuster interview with Fergie.

If a deal is struck, the former Duchess of York could face an interview similar to her ex-husband’s horror interview with Emily Maitlis on BBC Newsnight.

“Andrew has had his chance to tell the story. Now it’s Fergie’s time,” a source told The Sun.

Any interview with Fergie would see her answer questions about Andrew’s role in the scandal involving his friendship with Epstein and his relationships with Virginia Giuffre.

The former prince reached an out-of-court settlement in 2022 with Ms Giuffre, which concluded without any admission of guilt.

Andrew has consistently denied all allegations against him and the Metropolitan Police previously considered the sexual assault claims were not sufficient to warrant further investigation.

Palace aids are allegedly said to be “worried” about what Ms Ferguson might say.

One source told The Sun: “There’s a danger of her going rogue and saying things that could cause embarrassment for King Charles and Queen Camilla, or other members of the Royal family. But there’s not much they can do to stop her.”

An insider claimed: “Sarah and her team have had offers from all over the world for a sit-down. So she’s thinking things over very carefully.

“She and her team know a televised interview would be make or break for her in terms of salvaging her reputation.

“It would also give her the chance to spell out the fact she knew nothing about what Epstein and his associates were doing in terms of abusing girls.

“Sarah is actually quite keen to answer questions as she strongly believes she’s done nothing wrong, and been harshly treated.”

GB News approached Sarah Ferguson’s team, but they refused to comment on the matter.

The proposal of a TV interview comes as Fergie’s ex-husband missed the US Congress deadline to respond about his links to Epstein.

The former prince was given until November 20 to respond to a request to testify before the House Oversight Committee.

Some 16 members of Congress sent the letter to the former duke, which read: “The committee is seeking to uncover the identities of Mr Epstein’s co-conspirators and enablers and to understand the full extent of his criminal operations.

“Well-documented allegations against you, along with your long-standing friendship with Mr Epstein, indicate that you may possess knowledge of his activities relevant to our investigation.

“In the interest of justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, we request that you cooperate with the committee’s investigation by sitting for a transcribed interview with the committee.”

Democrat Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi told the former prince to “come clean” when the request was issued on November 6.

“Come clean. Come before the US Congress, voluntarily testify,” he told BBC Newsnight.
