Camilla Tominey has grilled Labour MP Perran Moon after the Government chose to dodge appearing on The People’s Channel.
The Camborne and Redruth representative appeared to defend Keir Starmer’s record after Cabinet Minister Darren Jones declined to face scrutiny.
Beginning the interview, Camilla said it was the “second cabinet minister in a row, two weeks now of not hearing from the Government”.
“Not sure why they’re running scared,” she wondered.
Amid major pressure on the Prime Minister to step down, Mr Moon said: “Do I think Keir Starmer will fight the next general election? Absolutely, 100 per cent.
“And I’ll tell you what, I am not alone,” he declared.
