Catherine shared a subtle Mother’s Day message after changing tradition from her usual post on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media.
Previous years have seen Catherine, 44, share family photos with Prince William and the couple’s children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
In 2025, she broke with tradition by showcasing an edited clip that highlighted the strength of Mother Nature.
This year, it appeared that the Princess of Wales went without posting at all for Mother’s Day.

But Catherine did share a Mothering Sunday message with her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which focuses on showcasing the importance of the early years of life.
The post on social media read: “Today we celebrate every mother, carer and caregiver whose steady love gives children the foundations to thrive.
“Here’s to all who nurture and guide with the quiet acts that shape the next generation. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Catherine’s husband, Prince William, posted a never-before-seen picture of his mother, Princess Diana, for Mother’s Day.

“Thinking of all those who are remembering someone they love today. Happy Mother’s Day. W.”
Fans were quick to comment on the touching photo, with many stating how “proud” Diana would be of the future king.
