The Princess of Wales was gracious in defeat as she congratulated Ireland after their 42-21 win over England at Twickenham.
Catherine was at the game in her capacity as patron of the Rugby Football Union.
Before kick-off, she was seen chatting and laughing with injured England star Fin Baxter.
However, the game did not go England’s way as Steve Borthwick’s side slumped to their largest defeat by Ireland at Twickenham.

After the match, Catherine took to social media saying: “Congratulations Ireland, always a pleasure to see @england rugby in action at Twickenham.”
Catherine was not the only member of the Royal Family to be soaking in the Six Nations action.
Princess Anne was spotted at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff watching Scotland come from behind to beat Wales in the Six Nations.
The Princess Royal has held the position of Scottish Rugby Union patron since 1986 and has attended all of The Thistles’ games so far in the tournament.
Scotland won the match in the last five minutes after a dramatic contest, as George Turner’s try was followed by Fin Russell’s conversion, securing the 23-26 victory.

Anne wrapped up in a dark navy jacket and watched the game from a high vantage point.
The Princess Royal was full of smiles at the end of the match, as Scotland made it back-to-back wins.
Anne’s appearance came after she carried out a visit to a crisp factory in Sheffield on Friday.
She was questioned by a reporter about the situation with her brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as she arrived at Yorkshire Crisps in the south of the city.
Anne did not respond when the journalist shouted: “Afternoon, Your Royal Highness, how do you feel about your brother’s arrest?”
The King’s sister arrived in pouring rain in a blue Range Rover with police outriders and was escorted a short distance into the building by a man holding a clear umbrella.
She left the site around 40 minutes later and again did not respond when asked from across the car park whether she had spoken to her brother since his arrest.
Around half a dozen members of the public gathered outside in the rain.
