Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have welcomed their third child, a baby girl born on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the arrival in an official statement, stating that the baby was born at 6:20pm at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, weighing six pounds and nine ounces.
However, as of August 6, 2026, the official website of the British Monarchy, royal.uk, has not updated its published line of succession list to include the newborn child.
The omission on the official website coincides with the couple not yet publicly releasing their daughter’s name.
Formal updates to the Royal Family’s online succession registry are typically made following the public announcement of a newborn child’s full name.
Previous additions to the official website roster, including those for Princess Beatrice’s children and Princess Eugenie’s elder sons, were listed on royal.uk after their names were formally declared by the parents and Buckingham Palace.
As of the current website listing, Princess Eugenie, Mrs. Jack Brooksbank, occupies the 12th position in line to the British throne.
She is followed directly by her two elder sons, Master August Brooksbank at 13th position and Master Ernest Brooksbank at 14th position.

Following the Brooksbank family, The Duke of Edinburgh holds the 15th position, the Earl of Wessex holds the 16th position, The Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor holds the 17th position, and The Princess Royal holds the 18th position.
Upon her inclusion on the website, the new baby girl will take the 15th spot in the line of succession, directly behind her elder brother, Ernest.
Her entry will move all subsequent individuals on the published roster down by one rank.
Consequently, Prince Edward will move to 16th position, James will move to 17th position, Lady Louise will move to 18th position, and Princess Anne will move to 19th position.
