Princess Eugenie has shared a heartwarming update about her family’s festive celebrations at Windsor Illuminated.
The royal took to social media on Tuesday to document her special outing with mother Sarah Ferguson and her two sons, August and Ernest.
Eugenie wrote: “The start of the Christmas countdown was made even more magical this year by having some granny and mummy time at @windsorilluminated”.

In the clip, Sarah Ferguson can be seen enjoying a carousel ride on what she described as a ‘giant rooster’.
She said in the video: “I’m at Windsor Park illuminated and I’m with my grandchildren and my daughter and I’m having the best day.”
The family moment captured Eugenie’s affectionate chuckle as she watched her mother embrace the festive spirit on the carousel.
Sarah Ferguson was seen strolling through the stunning Christmas lights display whilst holding hands with her grandsons.
The outing showcased the close bond between three generations of the family as they enjoyed the winter evening together.
The Duchess appeared well-prepared for the winter weather, donning a cosy red fleece and knee-length black puffer jacket.
She completed her practical outdoor ensemble with grey gloves to ward off the December chill.

Sarah Ferguson told Hello: “Grannies exist to spoil their grandchildren, don’t they?
“I’ll be stuffing their stockings with sweets, toys and treats. I think I’m as excited as they are.”
She added: “I plan a long way ahead. I spot things I think people would like throughout the year and stash them away.
“Every year I also like to get special baubles made for everyone’s tree.”
