Senior members of the Royal Family have been regularly reaching out to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie as the sisters navigate the continuing fallout from the Epstein files release, a source has claimed.

The ongoing scrutiny has taken a particular toll on Princess Beatrice in recent weeks.

A friend of the sisters said: “Bea has found the scrutiny very hard, especially the strain of the past few weeks. It has felt as though things have been in freefall.”

Beatrice’s father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was stripped of his princely title in October and instructed to vacate Royal Lodge, his residence on the Windsor Estate.

The decision followed the emergence of leaked emails demonstrating that his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein had persisted far longer than he had previously acknowledged.

The York sisters last appeared publicly alongside the Royal Family during the Christmas Day church service at Sandringham, having weathered their father’s dramatic downfall up to that point.

Despite the family turmoil, Beatrice has adopted a stoic approach inspired by her late grandmother.

The insider said: “Bea is keeping calm and carrying on. She learnt a lot from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

“This is a family in turmoil, but Bea is working hard; the juggle of full-time work and being a parent is her main priority, in order to keep herself mentally strong and her life moving.”

After maintaining a low profile for several months, both Beatrice and Eugenie have recently been spotted in London.

Princess Eugenie celebrated her 36th birthday with a dinner at the River Café in late March, accompanied by her husband Jack Brooksbank, who works as a marketing executive.

Beatrice has also faced speculation about her five-year marriage to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who has been pictured during work trips to America in recent months.

Beatrice has also faced speculation about her five-year marriage to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who has been pictured during work trips to America in recent months.

The couple share two daughters, four-year-old Sienna and one-year-old Athena, while Edo has a son named Wolfie from a previous relationship.

Claims that the marriage has come under pressure amid the ongoing scandal have been firmly rejected with a friend telling Hello: “The only things that Bea and Edo are navigating are their busy jobs and looking after their children.

“Recent reports that things aren’t good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them, and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance, because of work.”
