Prince William has returned a Tupperware container to Welsh charity founder Rhian Mannings MBE, sparking warm reactions online after she shared the gesture on social media.
Ms Mannings, the founder of bereavement charity 2wish Cymru, posted a photo of the container on X.
She captioned the post: “News Alert! The Tupperware has been returned from HRH Prince William. @2wishcymru @2wishcharity.”
The image showed the plastic box resting on packaging marked Buckingham Palace and the Royal Household insignia, suggesting it had been sent directly from the Prince’s office.
The post quickly drew affectionate comments from charity supporters and royal watchers alike, many praising the Prince of Wales for the thoughtful touch.

The light-hearted moment follows an emotional meeting between Prince William and Ms Mannings, which was filmed for World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2025.
The visit to her Cardiff home formed part of the launch of The Royal Foundation’s new National Suicide Prevention Network, a partnership bringing together organisations working to reduce suicide across the UK. 2wish Cymru, which Ms Mannings founded in 2012, is one of its key partners.
During the meeting, the Prince spoke with Ms Mannings about the personal tragedy that inspired her work.
Her one-year-old son George died suddenly in 2012, and just five days later, her husband Paul took his own life.

Finding little bereavement support available, she created 2wish to ensure families facing sudden loss would never again be left without help.
In the conversation, released in a Royal Foundation video on World Mental Health Day, Prince William described her decision to turn grief into action as “extraordinary”.
Ms Mannings told him that the charity had now supported thousands of families across Wales, providing counselling, memory boxes and crisis assistance through hospitals and police networks. The exchange between them struck an emotional chord with viewers.
Although neither the Palace nor 2wish has elaborated on the context, it is understood that the container was used during the Prince’s visit — likely for leftovers or refreshments offered to him at Ms Mannings’ home — and later returned through official channels.
2wish Cymru, often shortened to 2wish, supports families affected by the sudden death of a child or young person aged 25 or under.
The charity operates across Wales, offering immediate emotional and practical help, as well as long-term counselling and peer support.
Prince William’s involvement through The Royal Foundation reflects his continuing focus on mental-health advocacy, particularly around suicide prevention.
