Prince William has issued a statement after meeting two Clarkson’s Farm stars at a gathering of 60 young farming tenants at a Duchy of Cornwall event on Wednesday.
The Prince of Wales, 43, revealed that his son, Prince George, is a fan of the Amazon Prime show and had a stern request for English farmer and media personality, Caleb Cooper.
The gathering on Wednesday was designed to inspire the future faces of Duchy farming by providing information and inspiration.
Both Cooper and farming consultant Charlie Ireland, who assists Jeremy Clarkson on the show, were among the special guests at the inaugural event.

William took to social media following the visit, describing his meeting with the TV personalities as a “pleasure”.
The Prince of Wales wrote: “Great to be meeting with some of the Duchy of Cornwall’s young farmers today, and a pleasure to be joined by Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland for what will be an inspiring afternoon.”
The post included photos from the meeting, showing William both laughing with the farmers and looking serious as they discussed the importance of mental health in agriculture.
William recognises that farming can be a lonely profession where individuals face multiple external pressures and considerable uncertainty.

The prince made sure to pass on a message from his eldest son, Prince George, who he said is a fan of the show.
William told Cooper that George had jokingly quipped: “Tell Kaleb to mind his language!”
The event was designed to allow young farmers to hear from others in the industry and gain valuable insights.
During the event, Prince William was announced as the new Patron of We Are Farming Minds, a Duchy-supported Herefordshire-based charity.
William later took to social media, expressing his delight for the new role.
He wrote: “Delighted to become Patron of @wearefarmingminds. Founded by Duchy of Cornwall tenants Sam and Emily Stables, this brilliant charity provides training, events, information, support and advice on mental health to farmers in Herefordshire and beyond.
“The link to We Are Farming Minds forms a crucial part of the Duchy’s rural mental health strategy, which aims to prioritise and destigmatise mental health support for farmers and tenants.
“With all the external pressured faced by farmers, it has never been more important to break the stigma and support better mental health. Thanks for hosting a great conversation, @vicknhope.”
