Prince William appears set to become a godparent to the new baby
Prince William’s presence at the Westminster wedding last June has positioned him as the likely choice for godparent to Cosima.
William’s close involvement with the Grosvenor family extends beyond formal occasions, as demonstrated when he and Prince George joined the Duke and Duchess at Aston Villa’s Champions League quarter-final against PSG in April.
However, it appears unlikely Prince Harry may be offered the same honour as he has remained detached from royal affairs.
The Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals in 2020, settling permanently in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
