A photograph capturing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their 2018 wedding day has been removed from its position at King Charles’s Gloucestershire residence, Highgrove.

Royal photographer Chris Jackson, who attended the estate to host an event, shared images on social media that revealed the change.

The pictures showed a small wooden table in one of the rooms where the wedding photograph previously sat.

Mr Jackson’s images, taken during his visit to the monarch’s countryside retreat, documented the reshuffling of family photographs at the property, which is known for its personal touches and intimate displays of Royal Family moments.

In place of the wedding photograph, the table now features an image of Prince Harry standing alongside Prince William and King Charles, as well as a picture of the monarch cradling his grandson, Prince Louis.

The previous arrangement was documented in 2024 when influencer Lydia Millen captured the same spot during a visit.

Her photograph showed the Sussex wedding image displayed on the table, accompanied by a picture of King Charles and Queen Camilla from their Coronation day.

The image of Charles with his two sons was also visible at that time. The Coronation photograph also appears to have been moved from its original position.

It remains possible that the wedding photograph has simply been relocated to another area of the residence rather than removed entirely.

The change comes amid ongoing tensions between the King and his younger son.

Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back from their roles as senior royals in 2020 following friction within the institution, and contact between the Duke of Sussex and his father has been limited since.

A private meeting between the pair in late 2025, along with Harry’s outreach during the King’s health difficulties, appeared to suggest a potential thaw in relations.

However, reconciliation has not yet materialised, with father and son remaining estranged.
