Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second official Christmas card was leaked on social media ahead of its scheduled release this afternoon.

GB News understands that the Christmas card was set to be unveiled around 4pm this afternoon but appeared on social media just after midday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had planned to release the second Christmas card a few hours after their first one dropped on their official website.

Just before midday, the couple shared the first Christmas card on the news section of their official website.

The festive greeting read: “On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.”

Rather than include a photo of the couple together, this year the Sussexes opted to include a two-minute video of their engagements as part of the digital Christmas card.

The second Christmas card features a picture of Meghan and Harry at the Invictus Games which took place in Vancouver earlier this year.

Meghan can be seen holding onto Harry’s arm as the couple walk through the snow at the event.

Archewell

The Christmas card contains the message: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Archewell we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.”

This afternoon the Sussexes also announced that they were renaming their charitable organisation from the Archewell Foundation to Archewell Philanthropies, coinciding with the charity’s fifth anniversary.

The couple established the foundation following their departure from senior royal roles and subsequent relocation to Los Angeles in 2020.

Their philanthropic venture operates under the guiding principle: “Show up, do good”.

The name Archewell derives from two elements: “arche”, an ancient Greek term signifying “source of action”, combined with “well”, which represents “a plentiful source or supply, a place we go to dig deep”.

The rebrand signals a new phase for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s charitable endeavours.

Throughout 2025, the charity has championed the cause of safer online environments and pushed for responsible AI development practices.

Additionally, Archewell has provided funding to support children affected by the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine.

A spokeswoman for Harry and Meghan said: “This next chapter allows Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to broaden their global philanthropic efforts as a family, with meaningful reach and maximum impact, grounded in the same values, partnerships, and their commitment to show up and do good.”

The renamed organisation will enable the couple to expand their international charitable work whilst maintaining their founding principles.
