Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been wiped from the official Royal Family website just days after it was announced he would be stripped of his royal titles.

Andrew has been under constant scrutiny regarding his links to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein over recent months, with King Charles forced to take unprecedented action against his own brother.

Now, just two days after Andrew had his royal titles removed, he has been erased from the Royal Family website.

In a sensational statement, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the former prince would be stripped of his titles and would also be leaving Royal Lodge on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Andrew has been completely removed from the Royal Family website, and when his name is typed into the search bar, there is no mention of the disgraced brother of King Charles.

Rumours have continued to circle regarding the disgraced former royal’s link to Epstein after Andrew lied about cutting ties with him.

According to the Mail on Sunday, the 65-year-old told Epstein in an email, “we are in this together,” the day after the infamous image of Andrew with Virginia Giuffre was published.

New emails from unsealed court documents also revealed that the former prince had told Epstein it would be “good to catch up in person” only a few months after the child sex offender was released.

Andrew has continued to deny any allegations made against him, as well as saying he had never met Ms Giuffre.

Ms Giuffre made damning claims about the 65-year-old in a posthumous memoir. She committed suicide earlier this year, aged 41.

Her family said she was “an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family,” who had “brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage”.

However, the website is yet to remove previous features relating to his old engagements.

Trade Minister Sir Chris Bryant described Andrew now as “an ordinary member of the public” and suggested that the 65-year-old should go to the US to answer questions about Epstein’s crimes.

It is now believed that the King is in the process of sending royal warrants to the Lord Chancellor to remove Andrew’s titles and honours.

In the statement released by the Palace on Thursday, it said: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew.

“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.

The recent developments surrounding Andrew sparked the King’s decision to take away his brother’s titles and honours in the most immediate and efficient way possible, according to sources. | GETTY

“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.

“Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
