Prezzo Italian is offering diners the chance to tuck into selected pasta and pizza dishes for just 99p next Monday as part of its Blue Monday promotion.

The deal lands on January 19, widely considered the most miserable day of the year, with the restaurant chain aiming to lift spirits across the nation.

The offer is available exclusively for dine-in customers at Prezzo locations throughout the UK, providing an affordable way to enjoy Italian cuisine during the post-Christmas financial squeeze.

The 99p menu features a range of beloved Italian staples, including creamy Spaghetti Carbonara and freshly baked Pepperoni and Margarita pizzas.

Those seeking something with a kick can opt for the spicy Arrabbiata, while plant-based diners are catered for with a vegan Bolognese option.

The restaurant has ensured the promotion accommodates various dietary requirements, with gluten-free choices also available among the discounted dishes.

Beyond the headline 99p items, additional menu options will be offered at reduced prices throughout the day, giving customers plenty of variety to choose from during their visit.

To unlock the 99p deal, customers must book a table in advance and download the new Club Prezzo app, which provides an exclusive code required for the discount.

Purchasing at least one drink, whether alcoholic or soft, is also necessary to redeem the offer.

Those who register for the app will receive promotional offers throughout the year as an added bonus.

Families can also take advantage of two-course children’s meals priced at only £1

For diners fancying something different, the Lucky Lasagne presents an enticing opportunity at £8, reduced from its usual £18.95 price tag.

Each Lucky Lasagne order comes with a scratchcard offering the chance to win a £100 Prezzo voucher, adding an extra element of excitement to the meal.

Naddy Onions, Marketing Director at Prezzo Italian, said: “It’s freezing cold and we’re all feeling the pinch after Christmas.

“Time to spread some joy and banish those blues. At Prezzo Italian, we’re all about those little pick-me-ups that are purse-friendly.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with friends and family, and enjoy the delicious Italian food Prezzo Italian is known for all at an incredibly affordable price.”

The chain took to Instagram to announce the promotion, warning customers that tables would fill up quickly and urging them to secure their bookings without delay.
