Pippa Middleton has been granted planning permission to open a nursery at Bucklebury Farm, the 70-acre estate she and her husband James Matthews bought in 2020.
Princess Kate’s younger sister plans to welcome children aged between nine months and five years to the facility, which will be built on the grounds of the West Berkshire attraction.
The couple purchased the property for £1.5million with a long-term vision to expand it as a family-friendly destination.
According to the Mail, the local council has now approved the nursery plans, concluding that the development will provide “strong social benefits”.

“There is a local shortage of early years places,” the council noted, with the new facility expected to help fill the gap in childcare provision across the area.
The nursery will form part of the farm’s growing portfolio, which already includes animal enclosures, a café, and popular play areas.
Its design is understood to focus on nature-based learning and outdoor play, in line with modern approaches to early years education.
Pippa, 41, and James, 49, are not based at the farm itself but live a few miles away in a £15million Georgian manor house, which they purchased in 2022.

The family are thought to split their time between their Berkshire home and London.
While the new nursery is primarily aimed at addressing a local need, it may also bring a few light-hearted moments for parents dropping off their children.
“The prospect of a smile from Pippa, 41, is likely to perk up fathers doing the school run,” the Mail reported.
But the publication also noted that “she and James, 49, live a few miles away at the Georgian manor house they bought for £15million in 2022.”

The nursery is the latest stage in the couple’s wider revamp of Bucklebury Farm, which has become a staple for families across the region.
With council approval now secured, the development is likely to begin in the coming months.
It is not yet clear when the nursery will open, but local parents can expect a new childcare option in the heart of the countryside, backed by one of the UK’s most recognisable family names.
