Peter Andre has shared a “very emotional” update following a recent visit to his elderly parents in Australia.
In 2023, the 51-year-old TV personality shared that his 88-year-old mother Thea was battling both Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
During the visit, Andre captured tender moments with his ailing mother, expressing his heartbreak at seeing her declining health.
In touching footage shared on social media, Thea could be seen propped up in bed with pillows and wrapped in a zebra-print blanket, holding hands with her doting son.
Andre sat beside her bed, their arms linked as he tenderly said: “Just me and mama, sitting here, linked arms, just chilling together.”
Alongside the video, he wrote an emotional caption: “Love you mum. It’s getting harder and harder to see you like this. I cherish every moment I have with you.”

Later, the 51-year-old posted a touching photo of his father, Savvas, 92, and his mum sitting together with beaming smiles.
“Only dad can make her laugh like this. I love them both beyond words,” Andre wrote along with the post.
Speaking a week later, he described the trip to spend time with his parents was “incredible, but understandably also very emotional
“I went with my brother, Michael, and we got to spend quality time with my sister as well. The hardest bit for me is leaving them,” he continued.
Andre revealed that both of his parents“are on the decline, unfortunately, especially my mum.”
“Even though I know it’s part of life, I can assure you it doesn’t make it any easier to deal with,” he admitted.
