On this week’s edition of GB Mums, Nana Akua, Emily Carver and Olivia Utley discuss Russell Brand’s rape conviction.

The 51-year-old was found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault against four women following a four-week trial at Southwark Crown Court. The offences took place between 2004 and 2009, as Brand’s career was taking off.

Brand, who denied all seven charges, was acquitted of two further counts of rape and one count of attempted indecent assault. He was remanded into custody and is due to be sentenced on Monday, November 9.
