Paloma Faith has postponed her London show at the last minute due to medical reasons.
The singer, 42, revealed on social media that she has been diagnosed with Laryngitis, which was caused by a virus and means she can’t sing.
Taking to Instagram just hours before the show, she cancelled the gig – which was set to be held at Eventim Apollo – and told fans it would be rescheduled.
Paloma wrote on Instagram: ‘It is with great regret that I have had to postpone my show tonight in London.
‘My team are working on a date to re-schedule the show and as soon as that is set I will let you all know. I have been diagnosed with laryngitis caused by a virus and I am physically unable to sing.

‘So far the tour has been one of the greatest experiences of my career. I am utterly devastated, performing for you all is my favourite thing in the world. I also want to acknowledge those of you that flew in from other countries or travelled long distances. I am very very sad and very sorry.
‘It’s been taken out of my hands, I have been told I must listen to the medical professionals, so that l am able to return to perform for you, without causing long term damage.’
She signed off by adding: ‘We will know in the next 24hrs if I am able to continue with Cardiff & Brighton.

It comes after Paloma revealed that she is considering leaving the music industry.
The Glorification Of Sadness hitmaker said she ‘might put one more record out’ before she focuses her talents on switching up her career for something different.
Speaking to Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast, she admitted that she could drop the mic and become a teacher.

Under some pressure from her mother, Pam Oakes-Ash, Paloma said she is pushing for her to make the jump so she can spend the summer holidays at home.
Paloma, who shares two daughters with her ex-husband Leyman Lahcine, said: ‘My mum’s always telling me I need to train to be a teacher.’
Paloma continued: ‘She’s like, ‘You’ve had kids, you’ve done the pop star thing. Go and do PGCE [teacher training] because then you can have the same holidays as your kids’.
‘I’m considering it. I just might put one more record out.’
Elsewhere in the podcast, Paloma also opened up on the breakdown of her marriage to French artist Leyman, 36.
She believes resentment was why her near decade-long partnership came to an end.
The singing sensation said: ‘Resentment, because there was disparity, I think, between what I put into it and him.
‘But I say on the album, there is a spoken bit, where I say I know it is my fault.’
Paloma announced the shocking split in November 2022.
