The M25 has been closed anti-clockwise in Essex between J28 and J27 due to a serious collision involving an overturned van, which has caused long delays near the Dartford Crossing.
The incident saw emergency services, including Essex Police, attending the scene alongside National Highways Traffic Officers who have been assisting with traffic management.
Traffic is currently being diverted through local routes, but National Highways has warned that there are still delays of more than 60 minutes.
