Oldham Athletic defender Gus Scott-Morriss will be available for their next three matches after the Football Association overturned his red card against Colchester United.

Scott-Morriss was sent off for serious foul play in first-half stoppage time during Saturday’s 2-1 League Two away defeat.

Oldham were leading 1-0 at the time of his dismissal following a challenge on Ellis Iandolo.

Latics boss Micky Mellon initially said the club would not appeal against the decision, but Oldham changed their stance after reviewing footage of the incident.
