Oasis have announced they will tour again in 2027 following the enormous success of the Gallagher brothers’ long-awaited reunion.

The band confirmed the news in a statement on Instagram, declaring themselves “fit for purpose” following a “period of reflection”.

Noel and Liam Gallagher will return to the road next year for shows across the UK, mainland Europe, the United States and Ireland.

Announcing the news, Oasis told fans: “START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!!”

They continued: “After a period of reflection, ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.

“Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.

“Oasis will tour the UK, mainland Europe, USA and Ireland in 2027!”

However, fans hoping to secure tickets will face a different sales process, with Oasis confirming there will be no general sale.

Instead, prospective concertgoers must register for the opportunity to purchase tickets by 4 pm BST on September 17.

The band stressed that being an existing member of its mailing list will not automatically grant access to tickets.

“Please note that mailing list members are still required to register,” the announcement warned.

Further details have since revealed the scale of the tour, with Oasis set to kick off the run at Celtic Park in Glasgow on May 21.

The band will play five nights at the Scottish stadium on May 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29, before heading to their hometown of Manchester for an extensive run at the Etihad Stadium.

Noel and Liam Gallagher will perform 11 shows at the Manchester venue throughout June, beginning on June 4 and concluding on June 26.

The tour will then head across mainland Europe and the United States before returning closer to home for two nights at Ireland’s Slane Castle on September 4 and 5.

Oasis will bring the tour to a close with a particularly significant homecoming, returning to Knebworth for four shows on September 11, 12, 18 and 19.

The concerts will come more than three decades after the band’s legendary two-night run at Knebworth in 1996, when Oasis performed to a combined crowd of around 250,000 people.

The historic shows marked one of the defining moments of the band’s career, with millions reportedly applying for tickets at the height of Britpop.

The news confirms that Oasis’s reunion will extend into another year after Noel and Liam stunned fans by putting their famously bitter feud behind them to perform together again.

The brothers had spent years apart following Oasis’s dramatic split in 2009, when Noel quit the band shortly before a scheduled performance in Paris.

Their eventual reconciliation triggered extraordinary demand from fans eager to see one of Britain’s biggest bands reunited on stage.

Oasis signed off the announcement with the hashtag #OasisLive27, ushering in the next chapter of their blockbuster comeback.
