Newspaper headlines: ‘World cup storm’ and ‘King puts foot down’ | UK News

Many of the morning papers lead on US President Donald Trump confirming he asked Fifa to review the red card shown to US forward Folarin Balogun at the World Cup. The Guardian, external says the intervention sparked anger before their match with Belgium. “Foul” reads the Daily Mirror, external‘s headline, while the Daily Mail opts for “Bend it like Trump”.
