Several of Wednesday’s papers lead on the fallout from Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband’s announcement that the UK will impose sanctions on illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. The Times says Israel has “reacted with fury”, describing the Labour government as “hostile”. The paper also highlights comments from Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, who says the measure will embolden those “who use hatred as a weapon against Jews”. Like several of today’s papers, the Times also carries a photo of Prince George on his first day at Eton College.
