M&S Food will launch more than 500 new food and drink products over the coming months, timed perfectly as temperatures are set to hit 20°C this weekend.

The retailer is rolling out a selection of desserts that are bound to take over social media feeds, including fresh cream versions of its popular Dunked ‘N’ Loaded Doughnuts and new flavours of the iconic Cookie Cups.

But it’s not just about sweet treats. The launch also brings two new Detroit-style pizzas, fibre-packed Pop Marks fizzy drinks, and trendy breakfast pots carrying the Eat Well health seal.

For barbecue lovers, there’s the new grill and picky bits range featuring impressive 9-inch Long Dogs and smoky Campfire Mayo, which is fast becoming one of M&S’s best-selling condiments.

Head of trends & innovation at M&S Food, Annette Peters, said: “Sweet treats like our stunning new Dunked N’ Loaded Doughnuts and Cookie Cups are great for Instagram, but they are also really delicious and expertly developed.

“We have a brilliant combination of individual treats that you can pick up for some personal indulgence – think of it as ‘a treat for me’ – but they are also big enough that you can definitely share them too, if you can bear to.”

This comes as Marks & Spencer overhauls its £15 dine-in deal with eight new dishes that are in stores this week.
