Marks & Spencer is marking British Flower Week by celebrating its position as the nation’s favourite cut flower retailer and the largest seller of British blooms on the high street.

The beloved British retailer has placed supporting domestic farmers and growers at the core of its floral business, a commitment now being showcased through an impressive collection of home-grown arrangements.

M&S has unveiled a selection of bouquets featuring quintessentially British varieties, demonstrating the quality and beauty of British horticulture.

The celebration highlights the retailer’s dedication to championing local producers while offering customers the finest seasonal stems the country has to offer.

The retailer’s social media campaign has proven remarkably successful, with its British Flower Week Bouquet post generating substantial public interest.

Within just 24 hours of being shared, the promotional content had accumulated more than 250,000 impressions across both Instagram and Facebook.

This enthusiastic response from consumers demonstrates the appetite among British shoppers for domestically sourced floral arrangements.

The viral success suggests that customers are increasingly drawn to supporting home-grown produce, with the campaign resonating strongly across digital platforms.

Such engagement figures represent a significant achievement for the high street stalwart as it promotes its seasonal British offerings during this annual celebration of domestic floristry.

The collection encompasses a diverse array of British-grown varieties, from beloved peonies and striking alliums to cheerful sunflowers and fragrant stocks.

Every stem sold by the retailer is hand-picked, ensuring only the highest quality blooms reach customers’ homes.

All arrangements come with a five-day freshness guarantee, having been approved by the Flower Doctor programme.

The retailer notes that peonies remain a particular favourite among British flower enthusiasts, with their signature colour-changing blooms transitioning from deep to soft pink.

M&S reports that whilst 58 per cent of its customers purchase flowers as gifts for others, 52 per cent also enjoy treating themselves to fresh arrangements.

Bouquets are available online from just £25, with complimentary nominated-day delivery included on all orders.

The flagship British Flower Week Bouquet, priced at £45, features eight pink peonies alongside five blue eryngium and five blue alliums, creating a striking summer display.
