Just weeks after Morrisons launched a new loyalty scheme offering customers a “significant opportunity”, the supermarket has bolstered its delivery service.

Morrisons Now, which brings fresh groceries to your door in just one hour, is perfect for those moments when you’ve forgotten something crucial for dinner.

The process is straightforward: visit Morrisons.com or open the app, select Morrisons Now, and choose up to 30 items from their range.

Designed for “speed and convenience”, the supermarket offering will account for “unexpected guests or sudden cravings”.

The service is already operating in 158 stores across the country. By the end of this month, it’ll be available in 420 locations nationwide.

Morrisons says the service is all about giving customers what they need, exactly when they need it.

Whether it’s a forgotten item or a sudden desire for their freshly made doughnuts, you can now get it sorted within the hour.

Orders are delivered by courier bike or car, and can be tracked in real-time from store to door.

The service costs £4.50 per delivery with a minimum spend of £15.

Morrisons Now brings together all the benefits of a Morrisons.com account in one “seamless experience”.

Customers can shop from their saved favourites, use the ‘Instant Shop’ feature to build orders quickly, and all their addresses and payment details are ready to go.

Plus, they can still collect More Card points and take advantage of the usual More Card offers.

Group online director for Morrisons, Charlotte Exell, stated: “We are delighted to offer this service to our customers across the country, supporting them with fresh food delivered fast.

“We know that life is busy, and Morrisons Now is here to make those everyday moments easier, delivering what you need, within as little as an hour.”

In other Morrisons news, the supermarket recently made an exciting festive announcement.

Those who hold a Delivery Pass can now secure their Morrisons’ Christmas delivery slots for the crucial period between December 20 and December 24.

The supermarket has made these slots available earlier than it did last year, giving people plenty of time to sort out their festive food shopping.

This is great news for anyone who dreads the last-minute Christmas rush, promising “peace of mind and a seamless shopping experience”.
