This is the moment President Donald Trump unveils a new committee established to preserve peace in Gaza.

He tells reporters that former British Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair will be among those working on the temporary board.

President Trump brands Sir Blair a “very good man”.

Mr Trump said he will head up the committee himself and Sir Blair will take on a major role, but does not disclose any further details.

The US President said today’s announcement will be momentous as he believes it will bring about the end of the war in Gaza.
