The mother of Rhiannon Whyte has hit out at the Government’s “diabolical” refusal to release the data on crimes committed by foreign nationals.
Speaking to GB News, Siobhan Whyte accused Labour of “constantly denying” the illegal migrant crime epidemic.
In a new campaign, 11 families of victims of crimes carried out by migrants have written to Justice Secretary Alex Norris, demanding that the Government publishes the data revealing the full scale of foreign offending in England and Wales from 2018 to 2024.
The Information Commissioner ruled previously that data revealing the full scale of the data in question should be published.
However, last month the then Justice Secretary David Lammy sanctioned legal action seeking to overturn this ruling, leading to the Government being accused of “covering up” the data, an allegation they deny.
Among the families are the relatives of a 14-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted by an Ethiopian asylum seeker staying at the Bell Hotel in Epping, and the family of Rhiannon Whyte, a hotel worker who was stabbed to death by a Sudanese national in Walsall.
Speaking to GB News, Ms Whyte cited the recent Home Office documents published to guide asylum seekers on how “not to rape women”, arguing that they “know they are a danger” to Britain’s women and children.
She said: “It’s diabolical. It’s like they’re constantly denying what’s going on and what’s gone on. With the new brochures they put out, they know that people are at risk.

“So instead of protecting them, they’re just giving them brochures and expecting these illegals to read them, they don’t care.”
Ms Whyte stated: “They know they’re a danger, and that’s the sad reality of it. Instead of stopping, detaining, deporting, they’d rather spend thousands on publishing stupid documents that mean nothing.”
Asked by host Miriam Cates what she believes the Government is “most afraid of” in publishing the data, Ms Whyte admitted it may be something “we never know”.
She told GB News: “I think our Government should be protecting women and children and the men of this country, and there is definitely something there, definitely something very weird going on that they seem too scared to protect us.

“They’d rather just deny the amount of sexual attacks, rapes, murders, and then they hand out these stupid pieces of paper, but I don’t know. It seems very weird. It seems like they are scared of something coming out.”
Asked whether her daughter Rhiannon ever expressed any concerns whilst working in the asylum hotel, Ms Whyte told GB News that she only ever encountered one incident before her murder.
She recalled: “Just the day before she died, one of the migrants was drunk and had shouted at Rhiannon about some biscuits, but from what we believe, that was sorted, he apologised.
“Rhiannon was a bit naive, she didn’t really see the dangers in people, but no, nothing prior to that happened. But she was a bit concerned because they were drinking and then outside they were doing drugs. That kind of bothered her a little bit, but this person in particular, they didn’t know each other.”

Noting the campaign from the families of the victims of crimes by illegal migrants, Ms Whyte concluded that they will be “fighting every step of the way” to get the data released.
She said: “I’ll be fighting every step of the way. There’s days where I get knocked back and I don’t feel like doing anything, but I’m in the Home Office next week.
“I’ve just started a petition for Rhiannon, but yeah, myself and my family we’ll be fighting every step of the way.”
In a statement, a Ministry of Justice spokesman told GB News: “Protecting the public is our priority. We’re committed to supporting victims of all crimes, including through our record £550million funding package for victim support services. We do not comment on live legal proceedings.
